Have you ever wanted to touch a reel of film and look at it up close? Did you know this magical medium can get dirty, scratched or torn if it’s not taken care of? In this hands-on workshop, young preservationists-to-be will don white gloves and inspect their very own strips of motion picture film. We’ll show you how to protect and care for these endangered creatures!
This two-hour program is designed for kids aged 8-12 with their grown-ups. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.
Note: this event takes place in the Hammer Museum Annex, next to the Billy Wilder Theater.
