Directed by Christopher Munch
Turning a queer eye on cultural history, Christopher Munch audaciously offered a speculative window to a little-known historical event: the anecdote of a young John Lennon's private holiday in Barcelona with the Beatles' manager, Brian Epstein, now known to be gay. Finely detailed and emotionally intelligent, the film cagily proposed wondering itself as a powerful intervention in queer history, so often shrouded in secrecy and denial.
