Directed by Bob Rafelson
Society dropout Bobby Dupea, once a promising classical pianist, spends his days working as an oil-rig hand, living with waitress girlfriend Rayette, and bowling. When Dupea finds out that his father is dying, he embarks on a reluctant return to his boyhood home with Rayette in tow, but finds himself unsatisfied with and unable to reconcile himself to either identity.
