"Picket in response to the arrest of Angela Davis"

In 1970, Jonathan Jackson tried to free his brother George Jackson, a Black Panther and prison inmate, by smuggling guns into the Marin County courthouse during the trial of another Black Panther, arming the convicts and taking the judge, the deputy district attorney, and three jurors hostage. The judge was killed during their escape. Angela Davis, who had connections to the Jackson brothers and was the registered owner of the guns used in the incident, was found hiding in New York City and charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy. Although she was originally detained in New York, she was later extradited to California. This footage features people picketing to protest the arrest of Angela Davis by carrying signs and chanting. There is also a brief interview with an unidentified man possibly talking about her extradition, and how she can only be extradited if the court shows probable cause, which he does not believe it can do. It is possible that this is footage from New York before Davis was extradited to California.
