Mayor Tom Bradley visits the Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center in Los Angeles where he presents them with a check for $233,000 from the City of Los Angeles. The center provides medical, psychological and other human services to over 200,000 people every year, and this check is a continuation of financial support from the city. A representative of the Center presents Bradley with a certificate. Footage includes silent shots of the people in attendance at the event.
Note: The KTLA newsfilm collection at UCLA consists of cut and unedited stories, outtakes and fill footage, originally shot on 16mm reversal film stock with magnetic soundtrack. Some footage, particularly material not used for broadcast, may be without sound.
