Martin Luther King, Jr. is interviewed at Los Angeles International Airport about his appearances in Southern California on behalf of civil rights. He talks about mobilizing support for both the Civil Rights Bill and to prevent the repeal of the Rumford Act. The Southern Christian Leadership Conference is organizing demonstrations to be held in St. Augustine, Florida and King talks about the resistance and terror they are encountering from the Klan.
