"Los Angeles School of Broadcasting focuses on minority students"

Reporting from the Los Angeles School of Broadcasting, Jan Mitagawa interviews a school representative about the program and the students they enroll. The school is run by Don Malloy, a former radio announcer, and teaches students technical skills and the basics of creative talent needed to enter the radio and television fields. Although the school is open to anyone, they focus on meeting the needs of minority students, such as motivation and job placement assistance for graduates. Footage includes students in class, as well as students getting hands-on experience playing records and adjusting the controls.
