In a press conference, Mayor Tom Bradley discusses the need to find a replacement football team to play at the Los Angeles Coliseum, and steps that have already been undertaken. Bradley mentions a measure in Congress presented by Congresswoman Yvonne Burke, actions in the state legislature by Assemblywoman Theresa Hughes, and an anti-trust prohibition. Although not mentioned directly in the clip, the Los Angeles Rams relocated to Anaheim in 1980, and it’s likely this discussion is related to the early stages of the process.
