President of South Korea Chun Doo-hwan and his wife, Rhee Soon-ja, visit Los Angeles. Reporter Mike Botula reports from San Pedro where they participated in a ceremonial ringing of the Friendship Bell with Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley at Angels Gate Park. In a separate ceremony, the three plant a tree of friendship.
