Mayor Tom Bradley, Senator Alan Cranston and Larry Chimbole give a press conference on developing a transit plan for Los Angeles County. Bradley discusses a breakfast meeting with the mayors of sixty local cities to talk about the necessity of cooperation and their mutual concerns. Larry Chimbole of Palmdale, president of the Los Angeles County Division of the League of California Cities is at the podium, but does not speak during this footage. Senator Cranston talks about Bradley's leadership and endorses the Southern California Rapid Transit District plan.
