In a press conference, Mayor Tom Bradley discusses negotiations regarding wages and fringe benefits for city employees. They have been in negotiations with all the employee organizations and have reached a settlement in most cases. For those that have not come to an agreement, they have gone to fact-finding, where there have been some major breakthroughs. He also states that any organization can leave the fact-finding process and come back to the table to discuss proposals similar to the one being approved by the City Council today. Clip includes footage of Bradley signing the ordinance, shots of reporters, and silent footage of Bradley and others seated around a table.
