During this press conference Mayor Tom Bradley is seated at a table with several other men, likely other mayors. He announces the nine mayors of the cities along the corridor of the proposed 105 freeway met that morning. They discussed the status of the freeway, and alternatives to consider now that congressional action has made it possible to request the transfer of funds for other transportation purposes. At the meeting, there was a strong consensus between the mayors to continue pursuing the prospect of securing the freeway construction and hope the ongoing lawsuit is decided in their favor. Includes silent footage of an empty road, undeveloped land, boarded up houses, and the press.
