KTLA reporter Carlos Aguilar reports from Los Angeles City Hall on the new salary ordinance establishing a wage increase on average of 8.5% for city employees. In a press conference, Mayor Tom Bradley and City Councilman Robert Stevenson discuss the ordinance and the process through which it came about. Bradley talks about the ordinance as a breakthrough that affects over 16,000 city employees. Stevenson talks about Bradley’s support for the process, and their resolve to create an equitable distribution of resources for the people who work for the city.
