Reporter Jan Mitagawa interviews Mayor Tom Bradley on the 500th day of his first term as mayor. Oil is the primary topic covered, including off-shore oil drilling, and whether or not oil companies might be withholding production to maximize profits. Regarding the latter, Bradley would like to see the General Accounting Office of the federal government conduct a study to get to the truth of the matter. Bradley also discusses his first 500 days in office, covering such issues as transportation, crime and violence, and employment.
