Original air date unknown; only record date known.
Cast: Gertrude Berg (Molly Goldberg); James R. Waters (Jake Goldberg); Roslyn Silber (Rosalie Goldberg); Alfred Ryder (Sammy Goldberg); Menasha Skulnik (Uncle David).
Announcer introduction: "The way Molly feels now, no words can describe... because all her hopes, all her faith in what people can become have been dashed to the ground. Molly protected Grace against her family's advice, even after she learned, through George's confession, that Grace and he had come to the Goldbergs to get money out of them... George had reformed, so Molly thought the girl too, might come to see how wrong she had been. Giving Grace another chance didn't do any good, though, for Grace has absconded with the town's funds raised for delinquent children and is now on the train, speeding away from Lastenbury... and George is with her... The Goldbergs are left holding an empty bag which should be filled with the town funds... Listen..."
Announcer close: "Molly's faith in George isn't altogether misplaced, but Grace's great confidence is based on a longer knowledge... and she is after all his wife..."
