The Women in Film Foundation Legacy Series documents the personal and creative worlds of exceptional Hollywood women. Their trailblazing accomplishments—both in front of and behind the camera—paved the way for subsequent generations of women working in the film and television industries. The filmed interviews of these extraordinary women are part of the legacies being preserved in a special Women In Film (WIF) Archive at the UCLA Film & Television Archive.

This collection also includes Women in Film (WIF) Crystal and Lucy Award ceremonies held in Los Angeles. Other materials in the collection encompass WIF Film Festivals and other WIF special events, clips and television programs featuring work by or interviews with women honored in the awards ceremonies, public service announcements, television programs about women’s issues, news coverage of WIF events and other topics, demo reels submitted by performers, electronic press kits and movie trailers.
